Lucas continues to deliver a run of important new painting packages in Central London, completing the decorations for a major office redevelopment at 280 Bishopsgate.

The 13-storey commercial building was formerly the City headquarters of the Royal Bank of Scotland. It has now undergone a complete redevelopment, inside and out, creating over 264,000 sq ft of Category A office space, including a new dual reception feature right through the building, linking it with Bishops Square on one side and Spitalfields Market on the other.

The Lucas team applied coatings to all the core areas and offices spaces, including spraying to metaldeck soffits and beams within exposed ceiling areas. We applied specialist epoxy resins to plant room floors and a cycle store in the two-storey basement, and painted staircases throughout the building.

We also decorated the fantastic new ground floor reception areas, providing a brilliant welcome to users of the building.
